Ordination Ceremony - Jan 11, 2020

YSPEO's Ministry Ordination Program has prepared these students for ministry and presented them to the Church on January 11, 2020 for consecration. Through diligent study these students have proven their calling and earned their position as Christian Ministers. God has bestowed each with specific gifts intended to further His ministry. These men are powerful witnesses for Christ. A wonderfully emotional event. We were so blessed to have Pastor Price lead worship for us. The Holy Spirit moved that day Join us in prayer for these servants and their families as they move forward on the path that God has laid out for them.

Christians, you need to make time to pick up your Bible and study it every day. You know what's at stake here. Arm yourself with the Word of God and help others to do the same. Strengthen your bond with God through prayer. Attend a Church assembly on a regular basis for encouragement and edification. Learn to watch for signs of the times. Live in God's will. Don't care about who does or doesn't like it. If they can't give you eternal life in God's Kingdom pay them no mind. Only you are responsible for your own salvation. You were born to make only one decision and that's to decide which Master you will serve. You're Satan's by default, If you don't choose by the time your life is required, you're his! Plain and simple. This stuff is real people. How long will you neglect God's Word? Don't answer to us, you'll have to answer to the Almighty AND HE LIVES!

Open your Bible and read! Even if it's just for a few minutes each time. Believers, you start by overcoming these little battles and eventually you will become stronger. You end by OVERCOMING DEATH ITSELF! Understand what is happening here. This is what we call Spiritual Warfare! Know that Satan is so very real. He's bitter after losing a battle and is retaliating against God's beloved creation. His BIGGEST weapon is keeping God's Word from you. He'll laugh you all the way to hell! . Teach your children the Word. Revival is happening as Bible prophecy is being fulfilled exactly as written. Science is now confirming the Scriptures. This book is coming to an end. GOD IS SO MUCH BIGGER THAN YOU AND I. Do yourself a favor and make sure you and your family are covered with the Blood of Jesus. Open your Bible and grab His hand! It's getting real folks!

ONE WORD. ONE MONTH

The wrapping paper has been discarded. A couple more inches have been added to the waistline. The wallet is empty and the mail box is overflowing with credit card bills. But the heart is overflowing with much gratitude for the gifts of friendship and kinship enjoyed over the Christmas season. The ball has dropped amid the singing refrains of “Auld Lang Syne”, as we ushered in another new year. But, how many freshly made resolutions have been scattered upon the confetti-strewn floor?

We all promised ourselves that this year we will do better, be better, get fitter, and/or get slimmer. But by the end of the month, those resolutions have been “cast into the sea of forgetfulness.” I am determined to shake things up for this new decade of life. I have shut the door of the previous decade and I intend to leave that door shut. I shall leave my old wounds and grievances, my old hurts and jealousies behind that door. However, as I enter into the newly opened door, I have taken some precious items with me on my new journey. New friends, new truths as well as new understandings of what God would have me do.

This is the decade that I really want to delve into developing my Spirit. For way too long, I have had “Anorexia of the Spirit”. If I fed my physical body as often as I feed my spirit, I would be in serious trouble. “Be filled with the Holy Spirit” was not a suggestion. The ”Be” in this instance means to “Being filled continuously”--not just on Sunday morning.

During this new decade, I want to feed upon a wonderful diet, one of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. In Galatians, Paul contrasts bearing the fruit of living in the flesh with the fruit of living in the Spirit: Galatians 5:19-23 “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Note to self—this in the singular tense-not the plural.

When we receive the Holy Spirit, we receive a fruit cocktail. We don’t get to pick and choose which of the fruit we’d like to have. I want to dig deep into understanding these characteristics. In order to feed my Spirit Man, I want to focus on one of these characteristics over the next nine months. One word each month. I really believe that by studying, meditating and pursuing after Holy Spirit, I will have many opportunities to practice living and bearing the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. A new decade. One Word. One Month. Let the Adventure Begin… Bon Appetit! Happy Blessed 2020!

Preaching Since 18 years old & Continues To Serve God

Greetings in our Lord God Almighty in the precious Name of Jesus. It gives me confidence to say that I, Dr. Burchell Anthony Passley is one of God's Sons. I was saved by the compassion and mercy of God on the 21 April, 1958. God appeared and had mercy and power, and that is how I started preaching the Gosepl of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I started preaching at the age of 18. God knew me before then. Nothing is hidden from God. His Kingdom ruleth over all righteousness. I have been preaching for over 59 blessed years now. I am not bragging. God's will must be done in Heaven and earth. I was ordained by Bishops and Clergy in 1985 at York St. Peter's Evangelistic Organization. M daughter Jennifer Passley remains my Secretary. I am thankful to the administration for their kind works. I am a Civil Servant working for over 25 years in the Ontario Government. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica and enjoy the sport cricket. I lived in England and in the Caribbean as well.

Surround your livelihood with the issues of our Father and Son. Surround yourself with peers who believe in our Heavenly Father. Read your Bible as often as you can and get acquainted with the holy passages. Pray and fast as Jesus did. Go to the holy temple. Worhsip and sing praises to our Saviour and King. Live and love as the Saviour did, as love is the greatest attribute to display. Live in the Father's reality and not in the world's version of reality. So live for Christ, Love him wholeheartedly and you will be surprised how your Holy cheer for 2020 will progress.

God Is Trying To Get Man's Attention

God’s infinite power is evident throughout the Bible in many forms. As Creator of the universe, God’s control over nature has been linked to the judgement of man. And why not? It’s His weather. We must remember He wiped out the Antediluvian World with a flood; He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah with burning sulfur; and let’s not forget what He did to Egypt. With just one look He can cause catastrophic drought and heat waves, wildfires, thunderstorms, hail, hurricanes and tornadoes, floods or earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, sinkholes, asteroids and cosmic events.

He uses His weather to show His greatness and to get our attention. To get man to stop, humble themselves and fear Him. To turn man from their sinful and wicked ways and straighten their path. To turn man to prayer and righteousness. But don’t worry, for those of us who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ will be sheltered and safe from the extreme. We are exempt just like Noah. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 “ 13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” To God be the Glory.
