This Program is sufficient to award Ordination as a Christian Minister upon completion. The Ministry Ordination Program is for Christian men and women who have a sincere Calling to the serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Biblical Study is completed online. Workshops and Co-Op Programs are completed at several GTA locations always on a Saturday.  The online courses are presented in .PDF format. The modules are quite engaging, a comprehensive guide for Spiritual growth and a complete blessing to those who may struggle with understanding the Scriptures. Testing is done online and onsite. Upon completion the Ordination candidate will have experienced significant spiritual knowledge and growth being able to rightfully lead others to the Cross. This is not a quick and easy program. Much study is required! Make sure you have the discipline and desire to learn and study God’s Word.

Online Portion

Students will engage in up to 14 months of study and assignments. This can be done online from the convenience of home.  Download your PDF’s and read them anywhere. Students will complete lessons at their own pace to accommodate drip content.  What is drip content? Well, you are given a number of courses to complete. Each course opens on a particular date and closes on a predefined date. It will be the responsibility of the Student to manage their study schedule accordingly and have all assessments completed by the closing date to move onto the next course. At the end of each module students will meet with Sr. Clergy by video conference for discussion, question and answer related to the module’s content.

Onsite Workshops

You will be studying to become a Christian Minister. All Ordination Candidates must know how to administer the Sacraments and must not be unsure, clumsy or incompetent about how to do so.  Attendance at the Baptism & Infant Dedication Workshop and the Holy Communion Workshop – The Lords Supper  is a requirement for all Ministry Students. These onsite Workshops are held at a GTA venue and are designed to give the Student practical hands-on experience in performing the duties required of a Christian Leader. They consist of actors, role playing and edifying instruction which ensure understanding and competence prior to assessment. Workshops are a fun environment where we learn together with lots of learning and laughter. Great lunches are provided for you too!

Co-Op Programs

Some know exactly which type of ministry they are called to pursue but some just aren’t sure. Each Student will choose two areas of ministry they are interested in and complete 25 hours of shadowing and assisting Sr. Clergy to get an idea of what is required establish the ministry of interest. Several choices will be provided to the Student in the second half of the Program schedule.

Pulpit Assessments

Regardless of which type of ministry the Student chooses to pursue, each Student will finally need to deliver a 20 minute sermon to a full congregation . This will be done at one of our GTA locations at a scheduled time. They will deliver a sermon and be assessed by our Sr. Clergy.  This is the last assessment a Student must complete successfully in order to become a candidate for Ordination.

Ordination:

This is an exciting time for all Students. The Ordination Ceremony is a public event for those who successfully complete this Program and when you do there is no extra charge to become Ordained. We look forward to inducting new workers into the Lords service. Invite friends and family to attend, to witness as you take your vows before God to become a Christian Leader.  Sorry but we do not ordain Ministers by mail. All Ordination Candidates must attend their Ordination ceremony on the date assigned if not they must remain as a member to be included in the next Ordination ceremony.

Once Ordained it is the responsibility of the newly Ordained to GO and start witnessing for God! Amen.

2018 Course Curriculum

The YSPEO Program is for men and women who have a sincere Calling to the Ministry. It is completed online at their location and convenience. This is a college level course published in part by Harvest Time Institute with whom we network to raise up laborers for the harvest fields of the world. The courses are presented in .PDF format. The modules are quite engaging, a comprehensive guide for Spiritual growth and a complete blessing to those who may struggle with understanding the Scriptures.

Beginning to End – From the time an individual is accepted into the Program we ‘keep in touch; regularly so that we may get to know their personality, character, level of knowledge, hunger for spiritual knowledge, study habits, sincerity, spiritual gifts, righteousness and faith. This is a very important process we go through and is a considerable factor in choosing Ordination candidates. It is possible for an individual to not become an Ordination Candidate even if their assessments are perfect but their motives seem to be impure. On the other hand it is possible for a Student to become an Ordination Candidate taking the considerations above into account.

Online Portion: This section of the Program should take up to 14 months of diligent study to complete. Please see the course curriculum below. Students shall work through drip content Lessons at their own pace until complete. They will be prompted if seeming to fall behind. Each online Lesson finishes with online testing and Lesson summary discussions by video conference meeting.

Onsite Portion: Students are required to attend at least 2 Workshops.  Attendance at the Baptism and Infant Dedication Workshop is a requirement (all Believers must know how to baptize) along with Communion  – The Lords Supper.  Students are able to attend Workshops and Events at any time they are offered during their studies.

Workshops and Events: These onsite class gatherings are designed to give the Student practical experience in performing the duties of a Christian Leader. The classes consists of edifying instruction and are quite ‘active’ using repetitive mock exercises to ensure understanding and competence. It is a fun environment where we learn, pray and dine together.

Pulpit Assessments: All students will meet with our Sr. Clergy for a Meet & Greet and personal examination. Regardless of which type of ministry the Student chooses to pursue, each Student will need to deliver a 20 minute sermon to a full congregation. This will be done at one of our GTA locations at a scheduled time where they will be assessed by our Sr. Clergy. This is the last assessment a Student must complete successfully in order to become a candidate for Ordination.
